KVF-Troy Corporation has been a trusted metal finishing job shop serving the Detroit Metro area since 1976. Our Troy, Michigan location was the last business owned and operated by Klaus Von Frantzius. In 1985, Mark Torzy began his career at KVF-Troy, learning the craft directly under the original owner. At that time there were three KVF job shops across the Midwest — all of which are still successfully operating today.
The Torzy family bought into the business in 1989, and Mark purchased it outright in 1994, establishing full family ownership.
Today, Mark’s son Kyle Torzy runs operations after 15 years of direct, hands-on learning alongside his father. The same machines, the same uncompromising standards you trusted from the KVF name — now proudly independent and delivered with the personal, family-first care that defines us.
